Elemental Runic Bookmarks — Leathercraft Workshop

Learn to hand-tool leather in this beginner-friendly leathercraft workshop at Kadence Collective in Vancouver, WA! You’ll craft a set of three runic leather bookmarks — each channeling a different element — using decorative swivel blade cuts, whipstitch edge finishing, and UV-reactive paint accents that glow under blacklight.

Each bookmark is designed around an elemental theme (fire, water, and earth), giving you the chance to practice transferring runic designs onto veg-tan leather and building confidence with swivel blade carving alongside clean whipping techniques for a polished, professional finish. No prior leatherworking experience required — all tools and materials are provided.
